North Sand Mountain has gone 8-2 against Valley Head recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bison will face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, North Sand Mountain came up short against North Jackson and fell 6-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Valley Head lost 15-3 to Ider on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Head saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Coffman, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Valley Head's loss dropped their record down to 6-17-2. As for North Sand Mountain, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

North Sand Mountain took their win against Valley Head in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
