Softball Recap: Thomas Nelson Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas Nelson). Everything went their way against the Washington County Commanders on Thursday as Thomas Nelson made off with a 23-11 win. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Commanders, too.

The victory was the third in a row for Thomas Nelson, bringing their record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Washington County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
