Football Recap: Selport Drops Season-High Score on Yakama Nation Tribal

SelPort's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles 36-22. The Lumberjacks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Blaine Rieckers (Northport) continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 196 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 173 rushing yards. Slate Parker (Selkirk) was in the mix as well, providing SelPort with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: SelPort was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 322 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

SelPort's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Max Glasgow (Northport) refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

SelPort's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

As of now, neither SelPort nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
