Basketball Recap: Johnson Creek Takes a Loss

If Johnson Creek was riding high fresh off their 83-57 takedown of St. Ambrose Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Johnson Creek Bluejays fell just short of the Parkview Vikings by a score of 66-64 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bluejays have suffered against the Vikings since January 10, 2019.

Johnson Creek has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Parkview, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson Creek will host Madison Country Day at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Johnson Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Madison Country Day likes a good challenge. As for Parkview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williams Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
