Volleyball Game Preview: Pagosa Springs Pirates vs. Alamosa Mean Moose + How To Watch

Pagosa Springs is 2-8 against Alamosa since August of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Mean Moose at 6:00 p.m.

Pagosa Springs had taken Montezuma-Cortez down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Pirates came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered against the Panthers since September 28, 2021.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Alamosa had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Demons 3-0.

Alamosa walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Alamosa's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pagosa Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
