Basketball Recap: Ilwaco Takes a Loss

Ilwaco played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 63-33 loss at the hands of the Raymond/South Bend Ravens. The Fishermen were down 46-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

It was another big night for Chris Quintana, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds for Raymond/South Bend. Jayden Silva also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Ilwaco and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Raymond/South Bend, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Ilwaco is taking a road trip to take on Hoquiam at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Raymond/South Bend, they will host Naselle at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
