Volleyball Recap: Redland Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Redland Christian Academy was the 2-0 winner over Somerset Prep Homestead when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The FALCONS took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pythons on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10, 15-25, 25-23.

Somerset Prep Homestead's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Faith Robelo, who had 12 aces. Another player making a difference was Bailey Healy, who had five aces.

Redland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Somerset Prep Homestead, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Somerset Prep Homestead has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Academy South Homestead on the 10th. Hopefully Redland Christian Academy paid attention to the Pythons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pythons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
