Soccer Recap: Heritage Takes Down Mt. Zion in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Heritage had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Mt. Zion Bulldogs with a sharp 10-0 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Zoie St.John as she scored four goals for her team.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Heritage, bringing their record up to 11-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six matchups. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Heritage is taking a road trip to challenge Whitewater at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage will need to watch out since Whitewater have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
