Football Game Preview: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Cordova Lancers + How To Watch

The Davis Sr. Blue Devils will face off against the Cordova Lancers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Davis Sr. is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Laguna Creek on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Blue Devils were dealt a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Meanwhile, Cordova fell victim to Destiny Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Lions and fell 62-0. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 764th, while the Lions are ranked 250th).

Cordova's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-5. As for Davis Sr., their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
