Basketball Game Preview: North Vermillion Falcons vs. Traders Point Christian Knights

North Vermillion and Traders Point Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The North Vermillion Falcons will take on the Traders Point Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Vermillion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, North Vermillion was beaten by Parke Heritage 70-36. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now lost eight in a row.

Despite the loss, North Vermillion had strong showings from Owen Edwards, who posted 13 points, and Teagan Leonard, who earned 11 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Traders Point Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 43-34 win over Fountain Central on Tuesday.

North Vermillion's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Traders Point Christian, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

North Vermillion took their win against Traders Point Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 70-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Vermillion since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
