Soccer Recap: Southwest Christian School Comes Up Short

Southwest Christian School's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions. The Eagles have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Southwest Christian School now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fort Worth Christian the next time they take the pitch. Grapevine Faith Christian will head out to face Fort Worth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Southwest Christian School will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 17th.
