Meanwhile, Switzerland County couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell to South Dearborn 70-65. While the Pacers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 17-13 in the first quarter.
Madison came out on top in a nail-biter against Switzerland County in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, sneaking past 50-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Madison since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
