Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Takes a Loss

East Jessamine was the 61-54 winner over Rockcastle County when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The East Jessamine Jaguars fell 65-58 to the Rockcastle County Rockets on Saturday.

East Jessamine has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Rockcastle County, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

East Jessamine and Rockcastle County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. East Jessamine (ranked 204th) will meet Mercer County (ranked 60th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Rockcastle County will challenge Madison Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday down 193 places (221 vs. 28).
