Softball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren lost against Monticello back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks lost 20-9 to the Billies.

Bayleigh Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Haven Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Monticello, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Warren is set to face off against their familiar foe Hamburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Monticello will square off against rival Crossett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
