Recap: St. James Sharks vs. Waccamaw Warriors        
        
		
            
 The St. James Sharks put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy  60-44 victory over Waccamaw. Given St. James' advantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 32nd, while Waccamaw is ranked 169th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Nate Kettels, who  scored nine points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Sutton Cooper, who  scored 12 points.
 St. James pushed their record up to 8-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Waccamaw, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-7.
 St. James will take on Woodland in a holiday battle at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday at. As for Waccamaw, they will head out on the road to face off against Myrtle Beach at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Myrtle Beach comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
