Volleyball Game Preview: Vail Christian Saints vs. Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs

The Vail Christian Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Vail Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Addenbrooke Classical Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Vail Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Aurora West College Prep Academy, taking the game 3-1. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Vail Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (94-93), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Addenbrooke Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to D'Evelyn.

While Addenbrooke Classical Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into D'Evelyn's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-16.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Vail Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Vail Christian took their win against Addenbrooke Classical Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Vail Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Addenbrooke Classical Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
