Mountain Ridge extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were dealt  a  55-7 loss at the hands of the Centennial Coyotes. The Mountain Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-7.
 Mountain Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Sanel Eminovic and  Mason Weedman. That  interception marked the first that  Weedman has  snagged this season.
As for Centennial, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-3. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 20  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Titus Hill was the offensive standout of the  contest as he threw for 167 yards and four  touchdowns. Those  four  passing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  games. Mountain Ridge will venture away from home to  take on Shadow Ridge  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Mountain Lions will be up against the Stallions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.25  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Boulder Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
