Volleyball Recap: Walthill Takes a Loss

Walthill lost against Omaha Nation back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blujays fell 2-0 to the Chiefs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11.

Khirstin Wolfe paced Walthill's offense, picking up five kills. Wolfe got some help from Nicomi Frazier and her four assists.

Walthill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Omaha Nation, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Omaha Nation wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Santee on the 18th. Hopefully Walthill paid attention to the Chiefs' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Chiefs at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
