Volleyball Recap: Haven Wildcats vs. Hillsboro Trojans
Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hillsboro Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.
Haven was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.
Avery Brawner paced Haven's offense, picking up seven kills. Brawner got some help from Hadley Idacavage and her seven assists.
Amyah Werth was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine matches.
