Volleyball Recap: Nanuet Starts off Right with Win over Clarkstown North

Nanuet took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Clarkstown North Rams as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Golden Knights haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-7.

Nanuet's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alicia McGreggor, who had seven digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristen Schmid, who had ten digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Nanuet was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Nanuet has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Nyack on the 5th. As for Clarkstown North, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th.
