Yedidiah Louis and Calvin Jones provided fans with a highlight when they connected against White. The longest such play in 5A Region II District 9 this season, the connection resulted in 60 yards.
Richardson moved up to 463 from 516 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to make move up by falling to Skyline 49-20.
Berkner's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Louis threw for 244 and two touchdowns and Louis had 85 yards receiving. On the ground Louis chipped in 147 yards. Michael Weaver II helped Berkner's passing attack out by catching two balls for 78 yards.
Pearce's Rhett Svetgoff and Ryan Stanton have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Svetgoff has thrown for 1017 yards this season, while Stanton has 29 catches for 423 yards. The Rams' Jones leads the league in rushing yards with 734.
A big matchup in 5A Region II District 9 this week will be when the Longhorns take on the Raiders. White is currently in sixth, while Skyline is in first.
Reginald Samples' team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Richardson, 49-20. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
