Basketball Game Preview: Barberton Magics vs. Revere Minutemen

The Barberton Magics will face off against the Revere Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Revere is facing Barberton at the wrong time: Barberton suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 63-40. While losing is never fun, the Magics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Hornets are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, Revere had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 69-60 victory over the Blue Devils.

Barberton's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Revere, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
