St. Joseph Central hadn't done well against Wayne recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Irish came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0. The Irish were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Pioneers, so the Irish were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Katie Vickers paced St. Joseph Central's offense, picking up 24 kills. Vickers got some help from Ava Gallion and her 24 assists. Logan Dunn controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
