Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saugus walked away with it. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Perris Panthers on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Centurions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lincoln Fritz and Santiago Veizaga scored all four of Saugus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 35 goals.

Saugus' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matchups. As for Perris, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Saugus will challenge Anaheim at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Anaheim's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Perris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
