Volleyball Game Preview: Sabetha Bluejays vs. Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Sabetha Bluejays and the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Sabetha saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hiawatha. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Red Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

While Sabetha was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian Academy entered their tilt with Bishop Ward on Monday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 2-0.

Maranatha Christian Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 4-29-1. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 34-4.

Sabetha couldn't quite get it done against Maranatha Christian Academy when the teams last played back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Bluejays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
