It was a good run, but West Allis Hale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, West Allis Hale sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 15-25, 15-12.

West Allis Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Brookfield Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, West Allis Hale has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Burlington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brookfield Academy, they will square off against Lake Country Lutheran at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
