Recap: Pleasant Valley vs. Shasta
In what's become a running theme this season, the Pleasant Valley Vikings gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They never let Shasta onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The win was familiar territory for Pleasant Valley who now have four in a row.
They hit Shasta with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Brendan Van Nuys,
Garrett Powell, and
Keegan McGregor.
Pleasant Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-3 record this season. As for Shasta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8-2.
Pleasant Valley will head out on the road to face off against Chico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chico is on a four-game streak of home wins, Pleasant Valley a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. Shasta will take on Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shasta is facing Enterprise at the right time seeing as Enterprise is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
