It's playoff time, and Grassfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Deep Run Wildcats a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Grassfield's third in a row) raised their record to 15-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Deep Run, they dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Grassfield nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
