Softball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Fort Leboeuf

Fort LeBoeuf won the last time they faced Meadville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bison put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 16-1 victory. The match marked the Bison's most dominant win of the season.

Ibree Rodgers was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Kendra Tobin was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.

Fort LeBoeuf always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Meadville only posted an OBP of .385.

Fort LeBoeuf pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Meadville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
