Fans got a thrill when Luke Yokum and Luke Cooper connected against Covington. The connection went for 65 yards, the longest such play in Potomac Valley II this season.

Moorefield extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating East Hardy, 16-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Pendleton County's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wildcat feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Yokum has thrown for 910 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Dyllan Wimer has 28 catches for 369 yards.

Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Pendleton County takes on Tucker County. The Wildcat's offense has recorded 134 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Mountain Lions have permitted only 83 on the year.

An important game coming up in Potomac Valley II this week will be when Tucker County takes on Pendleton County. A.J. Rapp's team is currently in third, while Rod Cooper's team is in fifth.

Pocahontas County led the league in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Tygarts Valley.
