Recap: Glenn Bobcats vs. Lexington Yellowjackets
The Glenn Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 46-37 to Lexington. Glenn lost against Lexington in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 50-45 score last time.
Lexington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordyn Dearmon led the charge by scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Tay Bostic, who scored 11 points.
Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenn will take on Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
