Softball Recap: Denbigh's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Denbigh lost against Manor back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Denbigh fell just short of Manor by a score of 8-6. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Savannah Daniels was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kimani Grady, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Denbigh fell to 3-1. As for Manor, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denbigh will head out to take on King's Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manor, they will venture away from home to square off against Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
