Basketball Game Preview: Academy for Business & Tech Gators vs. University Prep Science & Math Cobra

The Academy for Business & Tech Gators will take on the University Prep Science & Math Cobra in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Monday, Academy for Business & Tech lost to Roeper on the road by a 59-41 margin. The contest marked the Gators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, University Prep Science & Math was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 55-38 to Arbor Prep.

University Prep Science & Math's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Academy for Business & Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Academy for Business & Tech was taken down by University Prep Science & Math 63-17 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Academy for Business & Tech avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
