Sam Houston won the last time they faced Archbishop Chapelle and things went their way on Friday too. The Broncos came out on top against the Chipmunks by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Archbishop Chapelle's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Landry and Avah Gilchrist. Landry had 17 digs and one assist, while Gilchrist had nine digs and two aces. Landry has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Sam Houston's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Archbishop Chapelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Sam Houston is taking a road trip to square off against Northside Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Archbishop Chapelle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Westlake on the 26th.
