Liberty North is a perfect 8-0 against Blue Springs since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Liberty North will be strutting in after a victory while Blue Springs will be coming in after a loss.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Liberty North faced off against Staley on Thursday. The Eagles never let the Falcons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Liberty North in their matchups with Staley: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Blue Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blue Springs South. While losing is never fun, Blue Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while Blue Springs South are ranked 21st).

Liberty North's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Blue Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Liberty North was able to grind out a solid victory over Blue Springs when the teams last played back in April, winning 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
