Basketball Recap: Jackson South Side Drops Highest Score of Season Against Middleton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson South Side). Everything went their way against the Middleton Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 64-42 victory. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jackson South Side's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ri'Kiya Mitchell led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Mitchell a new career-high in blocks (three). Madisyn Anderson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
