Basketball Game Preview: Antioch Christian Academy Gators vs. Columbus Christian Academy Pacers

The Antioch Christian Academy Gators will square off against the Columbus Christian Academy Pacers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Antioch Christian Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mintz Christian Academy just ended the team's 11-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The loss was the Gators' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Columbus Christian Academy had to start their season on the road last Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 50-4 loss at the hands of Mintz Christian Academy. The Pacers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Antioch Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for Columbus Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Antioch Christian Academy against Columbus Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, as the squad secured a 52-25 victory.
