Moshannon Valley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Curwensville Golden Tide by a score of 14-3. The win continues a trend for the Black Knights/Damsels in their matchups with the Golden Tide: they've now won four in a row.

Rocco Reifer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 155 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Moshannon Valley: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Moshannon Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Curwensville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moshannon Valley will square off against Claysburg-Kimmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights/Damsels will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games.
