Soccer Recap: East Clarendon Takes a Loss

East Clarendon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake City Panthers. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but East Clarendon couldn't quite close it out.

Diego Gomez and Damon Evans scored both of East Clarendon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

East Clarendon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lake City, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

East Clarendon has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Manning on the 18th. As for Lake City, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Timberland on the 21st.
