Soccer Game Preview: Methuen vs. Tewksbury Memorial + How To Watch

The Methuen Rangers will square off against the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Methuen will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

If Tewksbury Memorial heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Methuen took over last week. The Rangers walked away with a 3-1 victory over Haverhill on Thursday. Given Methuen's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Haverhill are ranked 235th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Methuen hit Haverhill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Erik Delaney, Owen Reilly, and Pierre Roy.

Meanwhile, Tewksbury Memorial hadn't done well against Billerica Memorial recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Redmen were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Indians.

The win got Tewksbury Memorial back to even at 5-5-1. As for Methuen, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-4.
