South Ripley is a perfect 10-0 against South Dearborn since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The South Ripley Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the South Dearborn Knights at 7:30 p.m. South Ripley will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Thursday, South Ripley escaped with a win against Southwestern by the margin of a single free throw, 55-54.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Dearborn). They walked away with a 75-65 win over Conner on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Knights' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 137th in Indiana, while the Cougars are ranked 48th in Kentucky).

South Ripley's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for South Dearborn, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

South Ripley was able to grind out a solid victory over South Dearborn in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 60-51. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was South Dearborn's Scout Gray, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 20 points. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will South Ripley still be able to contain Gray? There's only one way to find out.
