It was a good run, but Meigs County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McMinn Central Chargers. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meigs County's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for McMinn Central, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

While Meigs County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
