Volleyball Recap: Sage Creek Comes Up Short

Sage Creek was the 3-2 winner over Fallbrook when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Tuesday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sage Creek started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Sage Creek now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Fallbrook, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sage Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Mission Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fallbrook will face off against rival San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
