Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Foothill walked away with it. They skirted past the San Clemente Tritons 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ezekiel Vargas, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Aidan Colburn, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for San Clemente, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mater Dei on the 23rd. San Clemente does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
