It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Valley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Milford Tigers by a score of 45-38. The victory continues a trend for the Buffalos in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Milford's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hadley Griffiths, who posted eight points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Griffiths a new career-high. Acacia Dalton was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Milford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Valley has already played their next contest, a 45-43 loss against Tabiona on the 27th. As for Milford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 51-22 victory against Tintic on the 27th.
