Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverview). They enjoyed a cozy 70-53 win over the Spoto Spartans on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Sharks have beaten the Spartans on their court since January 28, 2020.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emmanuel Cruzado, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Makai Cohnes, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Riverview was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Riverview's record is now 3-4. As for Spoto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Riverview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-54 victory against Jefferson on the 10th. As for Spoto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-51 loss against Freedom on the 10th.
