Volleyball Recap: George Walton Academy Comes Up Short

George Walton Academy lost against Lake Oconee Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Titans. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-16.

Leading Lake Oconee Academy to victory were Jolie Chamberlain and Jordan Klevansky. Chamberlain had six digs and five aces, while Klevansky had 11 digs. Those five aces gave Chamberlain a new career-high.

George Walton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lake Oconee Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

George Walton Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Social Circle on the 14th. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lumpkin County on the 14th.
