Softball Game Preview: American Leadership Academy Eagles vs. Park City Miners

The American Leadership Academy Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Park City Miners at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither American Leadership Academy nor Park City posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

American Leadership Academy fell victim to Providence Hall and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Patriots. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Park City also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Tooele on Friday, falling 21-0. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Park City's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for American Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

American Leadership Academy suffered a grim 16-8 defeat to Park City when the teams last played back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
