Softball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Genesee, Christian Brothers Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Oswego Bucs 3-2. The Brothers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bucs, too.

Christian Brothers Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Oswego, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Christian Brothers Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Marcellus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oswego, they will head out to face off against Jamesville-DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
