Central Florida Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Carrollwood Day will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Central Florida Christian Academy earned a 54-46 victory over Foundation Academy.
Central Florida Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Justin Brigham out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Arman Kamel, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Carrollwood Day's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 55-43 to Plant. While losing is never fun, Carrollwood Day can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Plant is ranked 108th).
Central Florida Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Carrollwood Day, they bumped their record down to 6-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
